pie crust
This gluten free pie crust is the only recipe you will ever need. It comes out perfectly every time. Buttery and crisp, it is amazingly paired with fruit or any filling that you love. Just in time for Thanksgiving and all of the holidays ahead. What is even better is you can make it in advance, and keep it in the freezer for when you need it. Apple pie here I come!
What you will need
- Food processor
- 3 cups gluten free flour (Bob's Red Mill)
- 12 Tbs. chilled butter cubed
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 6-8 Tbs. ice water
How to put it together
- In a food processor, add gluten free flour, salt and cubed butter. Pulse until combined
- Add cream cheese, pulse until combined
- While processor is on low add eggs and 4 tbs ice cold water. The dough will start to come together. Let it process until it creates a large soft ball and all ingredients are combined. This may take up to 30 seconds
- If dough is not coming together, add remaining ice water. The dough should be soft and not crumbly at all
- When complete, pour onto parchment paper and form 3 discs
- Freeze or use immediately for your favorite pie
